Pagi2 plak aku update blog hari ni…
On my way to work today, I decided to stopped by at one of the many nasi lemak stalls in K.J to buy breakfast. I have this favorite stall run by this very friendly makcik, lauk dia sedap and what I like about her is she is very observant. She knows which customer comes first and you don’t have to worry about some people who arrived much later but still insist that she wants hers fast coz this makcik won’t let her. She will politely tell the customer to wait for her turn. Well, this makcik dah lama tak bukak stall dia, not sure why…I miss her lauk :P
So, nowadays I had to go to my second favorite stall. Well, food sedap cuma abang and wife dia tak baper observant. They tend to ask the customers “Siapa sampai dulu?” and of course the outspoken ones will get first la. If I’m not running late, normally I’ll just let it be la, malas nak gaduh2…but if the Abang ask me first although I knew the other person arrived first, I will quickly correct him and tell him the other person arrived first. Segan la aku rasa nak potong queue macam tu.
Ok, panjang plak intro. So hari ni, when I arrived there were only 2 other person before me..stall pun baru buka, orang belum kerumun lagi. I joined the queue and waited for the other 2 orders and another girl arrived and joined the queue behind me. Out of nowhere, awek kilang in her uniform arrived and was standing at the other end of the stall. Ingat ke dia nak beli kuih je, but she was actually waiting for her turn at the other end. Terus dia order “Meehoon goreng telur!” dgn muka masam. Abang tu buat dunno. When it was my turn (I ordered meehoon too), this awek kilang bleh cakap “Saya sampai dulu, lama dah saya tunggu, buat saya punya dulu” Huh?
The Abang, of course without the negotiation skills, just put a blank stare and ask “Siapa sampai dulu ni?” . With the sweetest and most sincere smile, I just said “Saya sampai dulu, orang semua beratur ni” . And she said “Tak tahu plak kena beratur!” Walauweh, tapi aku control emosi, malas nak gaduh over food, rezeki. And the Abang looked at me and I just said “Takpela bang, buat la dia punya dulu". I’m just assuming that she’s late for work, or dia nak terberak sangat – nak cepat, or her small kid at home dah meraung2 nak makan meehoon. But she didn’t dare to look at me after that, rasa guilty ke kak? :D
Tahu la we all are living in a world with the motto ‘Survival of the fittest’ tapi takkan la pasal makanan pun nak berebut kak. I hope you enjoyed your meehoon as much as I enjoyed my meehoon..eheheh.
Selamat Hari Rabu…
