Yeay....today's last working day before a long weekend..
Which means a double effort to make sure work for next week is done by today.
A chinese friend minta tengok alas dulang hantaran, her sister is getting married to a Malay guy. Alhamdulillah, another new member as Muslim. Well, I only have two alas. Mine is purple, and my brother's peach color. Both beads work done by Mama and helped by Tiyah and me. The purple one has been borrowed many-many times already by friends and cousins..at least tak dpt tolong financially, tolong material pun jadik la..
Yesterday evening were spent preparing the graduation scrolls. Event will be in R.enaissance this Sunday, and we got to report duty by 9.30am..yes, 9.30am on a bloody Sunday morning. I predict that event will only be over by 4.30pm - there goes my Sunday and an anti-climax for a long weekend. Having said all that, I actually like graduation events (better if it can be on Saturday). It's hard to explain the feeling you get when you see the students all clad in the robe and walking up the stage to receive the scrolls. There are some students that I feel attached to over the years - the friendly ones and the funny ones. Having dealing with them since their Foundation years, Diploma and seeing them transform from a rebel to a matured individual, I do feel proud for them, well some of them.
Selamat hari merdeka. I'm sure most of you have got things planned for this long weekend. Ada yg nak pegi support hubby nya dlm M.erdeka Race - all the best Wa! Ada yg celebrate anniversary - kat A.villion PD you... happy anniversary my dearest friends. Ada yg nak pindah - selamat mengemas barang, careful your back :D. Yg nak pegi long journey, please drive safely, ingat org yg tersayang. To my friends yg dah berjanji-date Daim Cake and meatballs kat I.KEA this Saturday - see ya!! I'm looking forward to it.
While you all are having fun this weekend, lazing around, pampering yourself... ingat2 la kat aku yg akan bekerja seharian Ahad ni kat R.enaissance.*buat mulut muncung*
