Being 30 and cranky (what's new?)

*Warning : A very long-winded post. Kasik chance la, birthday girl maaa*

First of all, thank you all for the birthday wishes, really appreciate it.

Somehow, my birthday this year was quite dissappointing, not as what I expected it to be. I only have myself to blame. Maybe I expected too much? Only God knows exactly what I felt that day.

On Friday 2/11, the whole morning , my left eye asyik dok gerak2. Yes, sometimes I'm superstitious and I know that would be a sign where I'm going to cry over something very soon. Oh yes, I cried buckets on my birthday..oh no, I'm not going to reveal all - well, only some of it.

I started my birthday celebration on Saturday night. After attending 3 open houses (mekasih Cik P, tahun depan nak lagi! :P), I was feeling quite full and tired. Hence, the dinner plan was cancelled. We went out about 10pm instead, heading towards T.itiwangsa. Yes, I went for a ride on the 'Eye on Malaysia' (EOM). Aftter what felt like the longest 15 minutes, the queue finally moved towards the payment booth. Heran gak aku tengok takde org kat payment booth. To our surprise, rupanya malam tu free ride, not sure why. Rezeki birthday girl :P

Saper yg pernah baca blog aku dlm friendster, maybe ingat betapa gayatnya aku masa naik Cable Car last year kat Langkawi. EOM ni allow max of 8 people per one cable car (bleh ke panggil cable car? belasah!). We were with one Malay family of 6. I only get to sit opposite B coz the seats are occupied. So segayat mana aku pun, I can't be grabbing/holding his hand/shirt (macam kemaruk bercinta plak nanti org kata!). Dah la aku dpt seat tepi sekali, horror je bila pandang ke bawah and kepala ni mula la pikir bukan2. Most of the time, I just looked straight into the sky :P

After the ride, it's half past 11pm and we decided to head to Kg Baru for nasi lemak. Pergh, syedapnya lama tak makan. So, detik kul 12pm tu aku tengah melantak..sungguh tak romantik kan? SMS pun menderu-deru masuk - from the people closest to my heart. Rosnah (my friend who shared the same birthday), my sister (who also shared the same birthday) and my parents. Baca sms Mama pun nangis ok? She said "Happy birthday. T.kasih kerana selalu memberi perhatian pada mama dan ayah. We love you". Ayah plak sms "Happy birthday daripada ayah & mama, semoga panjang umur dan dimurahkan rezeki serta menjadi anak yg soleh".. meleleh ok gua baca.

Morning of 4th Nov, 9am dah kuar gi breakfast dgn B. Ye, B tak keje langsung last weekend sbb nak celebrate my birthday and he even cancelled his plan to join the fishing tournament he's been dying to join with his friends coz it was held on my birthday. After breakfast, I received call from my sis in law, Adam was singing Happy birthday loudly over the phone to me. Walaupun pelat, ehehhe..the only words I could capture was Abituyou...:D. That's when aku teringat 4 org lagi anak sedara aku yg jauh di Q.atar. They never failed to wish my birthday every year but for the past 2 years, I did not get any wishes from them. I do hope they still remember my birthday but could not wish me due to the unforeseen circumstances. Ye ke? Entahla..dan untuk kesekian kali, air mata ku berderai lagi :(. For lunch, we head to F.ederal Hotel where we used up the cash voucher given by his brother. Picture below are what we had for lunch. Yummylicious.
I had like the worst PMS on my birthday where every little thing tends to annoy me. Heck, I'm even annoyed with myself, damn you PMS! Nak period, period je la, tak yah la nak PMS bleh dak? And my supposedly meaningful birthday ended after lunch coz aku dah takde mood sangat2. And towards the end of the day, it became the day that I wanna forget *sigh*

Not able to have the usual birthday dinner with family yet, coz Monday and Wednesday I got to work till 8-9pm, Tuesday,parents plak ada dinner and Thursday Mama will be going off to Perlis for a wedding. Kena la tunggu Mama balik baru bleh pegi dinner together. Officemates will be celebrating my birthday on Wednesday. I'll be off from work on Thursday and Friday for Deepavali.
