The first housewarming do

I had planned this before Ramadhan and alhamdulillah it had materialized. I've been having iftar with this group of friends aka TEKBES geng for the past 3 years in I.KEA and last year, we had decided that we had enough of I.KEA (kes bengang takde meatballs and lasagna masa Ramadhan haha) and wanted to go somewhere else this year.

Setelah berbincang dgn Rosnah, I think it's only appropriate I took the opportunity to do housewarming for this geng sempena Ramadhan and decided it should be a potluck thingy (kut ramai keracunan makanan kalau aku masak - kes takde self confidence). So after a few emails and maps, the day came. Rupanya2 aku salah bagi alamat, gila loser aku ni :P Nama jalan sendiri pun aku bleh silap. Sorry sangat2 ladies!

Menu for the day - Kuih-muih (Rosnah), Nasi goreng (Inn), Koay tiaw (Zied & Raff), Satay (Aje & Nora), BBQ Chickens (Shareen), Oreo Cheese Cake (Noresh) and Mixed Fruit Jello and drinks and ice cream disediakan tuan rumah, tu pun sgt gagal sbb beli ice tak cukup..aduih.

All in all, we had a great time (I think and hope so)..stuffed our self silly (ni aku la) and chit chat plus hysterical laughter. The night ended near 11pm, of course selepas beberapa 'panggilan maut' :). And after taking a quick bath, aku flat terus bersama angin aircond full blast.

We should do this again soon, ladies. Thanks Raff and Inn for the housewarming gifts. And pada kawan2 lain, tunggu ye..batch by batch :)

Semalam bukak posa kat rumah KJ with the whole family, sans Tiyah and hubby who's working 7pm-7am. Peluk Adam dgn Akiff banyak kali sbb lama tak jumpa..for the past 2 weeks dok cakap dlm tepon je..tu pun Akiff entah apa dia cakap, tak paham :p. Menu semalam pun menyelerakan, semua home made - Ayam Sambal Black Pepper, Sayur Udang daun pucuk, Kerabu Taugeh & kerang and kuih keria plus cucur badak..yummyyy! (Gambar to be uploaded later).

Hari ni dapat berbuka & sahur again with hubby for the next 7 days before he's back on night shift again. So, saya akan mula memasak balik :P and hope to be able to perform Terawih together with him. And today for the first time, I took the STAR LRT to the office. Cewah 7.20am dah naik train dari Bkt Jalil, 7.50am dah sampai..tapi bila turun kat Masjid Jamek, termangu2 depan tu nak ikut jalan mana. Laju je jalan ke belakang sbb memang plan nak just walk thru Jalan Masjid India tu slow2 ke office..tapi rasa macam lain macam je jalan, made a U-turn and walked back to the station and stood there for a good 5 minutes and realized - duh! kena cross the road la kalau nak ke masjid india..haha. Nampak sgt lama tak naik LRT. Confuse di pagi Isnin :P Pastu jalan laju2 macam kartun sbb dah terlambat, berpeluh2 uwaaa.

Takpe, takpe..kalau tak salah tak tahu kan? Balik japgi sure banyak je temptation dgn bazaar yg penuh sepanjang Jln TAR and Jln Masjid India..pejam mata je la (ye keeee?).
