Aku minat Kak Dina punya writing dari dulu lagi. No doubt about it. Dari zaman Form 4-Form 5 when she was writing in NST - Dina's Dalca dgn zaman Gong Kapas dia. I like! She was funny back then and I always thought that she's very cool. Yela, kita ni budak sekolah, dia plak dgn citer travel pegi oversea bagai, mmg teruja la aku baca. You know what? I still think she's funny and cool now.

Bila start masuk PPP, aku dah tak follow..sampai la bila aku start blog ni. I saw her blog from somebody else's blog. My first thought was "Eh, nama dia familiar la" and after one click, I was smiling..I found her back :) cewaHH, citer macam terjumpa kekasih lama plak. :D Kebetulan plak, she was working on her book, lagi la excited aku sbb aku banyak tertinggal dia punya writing dlm Malaysiakini.com tuh. It's actually a compilation of her columns dlm malaysiakini, selected ones la.

Dah ada kawan2 yg tanya pasal buku ni when they found out that I've bought the book. Ada yg call, ada yg sms..you know who you are, darlings..biasala, aku pun mula2 bila tahu tajuk buku ni aku dah skeptical sket sbb aku ingat ni buku agama/politic yg asyik berat sebelah. Tapi tak. I enjoyed reading every bit of it and it is indeed an eye opener. But aku nak pesan, kena buka minda kalau nak baca Kak Dina punya writing ni. Sebab tulisan dia jujur,berani dan sinis and it makes you think..tapi bukan pikir mende berat2.. dia buat kita question diri kita, are we a real Muslim that we claim to be? And ada cerita2 dia yg funny yg buat aku senyummmmm je bila baca. This is the Dina Zaman I used to know(read) and after all these years, dia still maintain humor dlm writing dia, yg buat kita tak jemu baca. Oh, and writing dia makin 'nakal' :P

Banyak lagi la issue yg dia kupas kat dlm buku tu..you got to buy and read it yourself. Seriously, memang worth the RM30 spent. Well, that's what I think.
