My weekend?

Rasa macam weekend yg panjang..I slept all the way to Pahang..ngantok siot, I only had 2 hours of sleep on Thursday night,kan? Friday tu was pretty hectic with me trying to complete eveything, mmg tak mampu ah nak complete everything. Tinggal minor2 details la and I planned to go to work early on Monday to finish up.

We arrived in Pahang at 5am, as sister in law's flight was delayed for 2 times, biasalah bila fly dgn A.A kan? Besok tu bangun 10am..berpinar kepala aku rasa :) tengok2 mak tengah uli karipap. Oh cedapnya! She made the best karipap kecik. Yg kita beli kat kedai slalunya frustrating sbb inti dia sket gila, kosong jek. But mak will stuffed the inti padat2, mmg besh. She will usually made serunding ikan to be stuffed inside the karipap kecik. I helped her till noon.


Then it was ikan bakar time. Bakar terubuk and talapia. Ikan terubuk tu walaupun banyak tulang tapi sedap punya pasal, tak kisah le. And orang2 tua ni ada cara dia sentap ekor terubuk sebelum siang ikan tu so that tulang tu tersusun je and tak susah kita nak cabut. Don't ask me, usually my father in law will be the one doing it :)...cecah dgn air asam yg pedas, berpeluh makan. Hahahah. But memang panas le Pahang..even kita kat KL pun panas kan? Kat Pahang lagi la panas. Aku cam biasa la, panas sket je mula la migraine. Seksa.. aku buat keje yg aku bawak balik tu sket2 jek..most of the time, aku lepak tengok TV je.

Sunday morning, brought mak to pasar pagi. We bought ikan patin. Mak made patin masak tempoyak cili api...sodap gila weh! Makan kul 1pm.. kul 4pm makan lagi, this time hirup kuah jek :p walaupun pedas berasap telinga, tapi sedap punya pasal, aku tahan gak. I brought back some ikan patin sbb my dad suka ikan patin tapi tak suka tempoyak. So, kena masakkan sambal tumis biasa la. Ikan patin ni kalau beli kat KL aku tak lalu la sbb perut besar, banyak lemak. Kena beli yg kat kampung, baru sedap.

Left Pahang after Asar. Singgah Genting Sempah for Maghrib and I arrived in KJ around 8.40pm. Badan dah la rasa tak sedap, terus aku tido.. 9.15pm aku terjaga, sbb rasa panas je padahal dah pasang aircond full blast, rupanya blackout. The whole of KJ I think. But hubby punya kawan kat Damansara pun cakap blackout gak. Aku dah freak out, satu sbb keje tak siap lagi, ingat nak sambung buat keje and satu lagi, of course la freak out sbb baju nak gi keje belum bergosok..ni yg aku paling lemah sekali kalau takde letrik. Tapi jap je, 10pm dah ada balik letrik..lega!

Hopefully everything goes well for the next 3 days..aku berangan nak tido sepuas-puasnya lepas ni... nak gi rehat2 kat area dekat2 je..PD ok dak?

Ikan patin masak lemak tempoyak cili padi memang specialty orang Pahang. Aku pong minat giller... Amy, kalau tak lalu tempoyak, goreng bodo aje.. Makan panas-panas dengan nasi putih dah KAWW dah!!!

aduhhhss amy... ko ni buat aku terliur la. sejak aku balik fm uk dulu dah teringin nak makan patin masak tempoyak.

like u, aku pun tak lalu nak makan ikan patin kat kl nih sebab mostly are farm-bred. kena jugak cari yg free range baru sedap.

ps: nasib baik aku tak pregnant, kalau dak mau aku perintah kan bard pegi ikut ko balik kg n bawak balik sket utk aku... heheheh

im waiting for lunch time. my tummy says grumble grumble. heh.

i can only go cuti mesia after our show. cant wait till that's over. tak nak teater2 lagi dah. penat.

wahh... sememangnya ikan patin masak tempoyak jugak menjadi kegemaran A.Teh. So far, yang A.Yang buat le paling sodap. Goreng garing biasa or masak sambal pun sodap jugak. Lapaq pulak dah...

Kak Dilla - Ko bayangkan org Pahang bleh buat ikan patin tempoyak ni lauk kenduri kawin tau!.Sedap..ehem, aku beajar masak dari mak mentua aku la. AKu tak suka durian tapi aku suka tempoyak, pelik kan? But for my daddy, kena buatkan sambal ikan patin la, ayah tak minat tempoyak

Diva - Jom-jom cuti2 mesia.. i really need a break la.

Noresh - Tak semua org suka ikan patin noresh..macam aku suka ikan keli, so ikan patin tu satu family la..aku suka yg size sedang2 je. Besar2 sgt aku geli tengok lemak dia tebal benor. It is so easy to cook la kak..from what my mom in law ajar la.. so far, yg aku masak tu bleh layan la walaupun tak sesedap org pure pahang masak :D

Inn - Hehhehe u know la me..like to talk about good food :P. Yup, arrived office at 7.45am and managed to finish it. Am now preparing for the big day, Wednesday. U should also take a break la..

Aunty Teh - Aunty Yang buat sedap ek? Hehhe kena rasa nih. Memang, goreng pun sedap, buat sambal pun sedap..isKk.

Zied - Aik kat Subang pun blackout ke? Aku ingat PJ dgn Damansara jek. Nasib baik la 45 mins jek.. berpeluh dah aku...jadi ek outing Sabtu ni..jgn cancel please. Nak sgt jumpa korang. Aku belanja ko makan, ko bagi aku pinjam GA Season 3 seminggu,aci dak? :P

Zetty - Memang sodappP. Kat kedai aku tak baper gemor nak makan terubuk sbb banyak tulang tapi kalau kat umah mentua, mmg ala-ala melompat nak makan terubuk sbb macam tak banyak tulang pun..pelik kan?
