Seriously... I really don't understand. Why don't people make use of the internet? Why some still:
~ pay bills at the post office when you can simply and conveniently pay through the internet?
~ pay credit card bills/car loans at the bank counter when you can just deposit cash at the ATM (which you can do after office hours)?
~ check whether your salary is already in or not by going to the ATM machine (few times and being charged RM1 each time) when you can just check through the online banking?
~ queue up to buy cinema tickets when you can just book online or sms, then conveniently collect it at the self-service-kiosk.
Why, why, why??
Kalau yang conventional macam ayah yg still tak confident nak pay online (eventhough I have told him many times that online banking is soooo much easier) , bleh faham lagi la. Ini yg muda belia, pakai smart2, baju up-to-date kiranya... tapi masih setia nunggu giliran kat post office sebab nak bayar bil letrik dgn bil tepon? Duh!
Disclaimer note : Aku kena tunggu lama gila kat post office tadi sbb tolong renewkan hubby punya driving license (dah aku cuti panjang kan?).... kalau la renewkan driving license bleh buat guna internet, dah lama aku buat nok! Tak kuasa nak beratur kat bank/post office tau when it is just a click away. Minah2 vogue de vass kat post office tadik yg hanya nak bayar bil2 ni jek la yg membuatkan giliran org macam aku tergendala. sheesh!

hmmm, kalau gi postoffice kena jalan, kena berdiri.. so you can burn up a significant number of calories compared to kalau u buat thru internet... mestinyer sambil baring or sambil duduk with one cup of milo kat tangan sebelah.. so less calories being burned.. unless sambil2 tu u guna OSIM uZap ::P
sebab serikk woo.. arituh wa bayar det kete pakai internet, lesap ke mana tah.. tau2 jek dpt surat reminder.. hangin wa.. kena bawak resit aa.. ref no aa.. apekebenda lagi aa.. last2 sangkut kat clearance.. huh.. mencik.. wa rela bayo kat konter jek.. nyampah!

Mel - But u don't have to pay at the counter during office hours kan? Can just go to the ATM, cash deposit, can do it at night aper, less people. Gua pening ah tengok org ramai kat bank ngan post office..eheheh

Sebabnya... kadang-kadang terpaksa kedekut sikit nak kena bayar RM2.00 processing fee for EVERY transaction...! Wouldn't it be better kalau depa charge once aje wpun buat 5,6 transactions dalam sehari? Depa boleh control thro the requested TAC number, apa?
Lepas tu, la ni, kalau dah lebih 4 kali kuarkan duit, terus kena charge lagi 50sen therafter. So, apa lagi, a lot of people keluarkan sekali arung banyak and terus pi beratur bayar beratur bayar beratur bayar. They're just being thrifty, di waktu-waktu every cents counts.
Pastu, maybe ada yang tak dapat nak access internet at the office (mcm Kak Lin masa keja consultant dulu).
All these said, Kak Lin MEMANG guna online payment... sebab malas dan panas nak beratur, maaa. hehehehehehehe, typical excuse kan? ;-)

Memang ada pros and cons nya la kan? But sama macam kak Lin la, I couldn't stand the queue and the heat.. Panas dan sesak dgn orang will only spell one word for me - MIGRAINE!
oh, you made me feel so IT savvy coz I pay all my bills, pay my car installment melalui cara-cara yang tertera di dalam list anda.
I agree with you, why go thru all the hassle when you can do it in the comfort of your home or office.
